Thursday, November 27, 2014

The National Archive of the Republic of Cuba calls to participate in the "Open Doors" day that will take place during the month of January 2015, as part of the activities to celebrate its 175th anniversary.

The institution, constituted on January 28, 1840, invites children, young people and all those interested to enjoy guided tours that will bring them closer to the knowledge of history, through exhibitions of documents of great historical and patrimonial value (photos, letters, orders and other testimonies of the tireless struggle of our mambises). Also, the tour will allow you to get close to the National Archive, its trajectory, the interesting work it does to safeguard the documentary treasure of the country to make it accessible to researchers, students, teachers and the population in general.

What is the National Archive of the Republic of Cuba? What does? What information can I find there? What is its importance for the family, institutions, administration and society? These and other questions will be answered during the Conference.

They can attend from January 6 to 31, 2015, each week, from Monday to Friday, at the following times:
9:00 a.m.-10: 00 a.m.
11:00 a.m.-12: 00 m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 pm.

Visit our headquarters, located in Compostela # 906, esq. to San Isidro, Old Havana, where we wait for a fascinating encounter "FOR THE PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL MEMORY".
